“Gavin Newsom’s grandfather, William Newsom Sr., was a close friend and fundraiser for Brown’s father, Pat Brown. And just as Pat Brown’s governorship ended, the sneior (sic!) Newsom was awarded a concession for the Squaw Valley ski area, developed by the state for the 1960 Winter Olympics, and site of the first PlumpJack restaurant. A few years later, Newsom swapped the concession for some state-owned land in Stockton, then sold it to a developer.

“Feminist” Jenny Siebel (of the wealthy Marin family) has popped out yet another baby which will reside in their mansion in Ross.

With seven billion people, how does one justify having four children?

Can a couple who command such immense wealth and live in such palatial surroundings understand ordinary, working people?

This home, now for sale, housed Newsom and Siebel before they moved to the elitist enclave of Ross in Marin County.

it does not appear to be headed to the ballot soon as Chris Roberts in the SF Weekly reports:

” There’s no timetable on drafting legalization ballot language. There’s not even certainty as to who will write it — or if it happens at all in 2016. There are just questions — and one tall politician, surrounded by admirers in Carhartts, smelling faintly of terpenes.”

The Sacramento Bee reports:

Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom behested $642,000 in payments from Comcast, AT&T, the Tides Foundation and others to several causes, including this year’s Special Olympics, We Day California 2015, and Newsom’s inauguration events.

Odd choice of individuals here for “Yosemite Centennial  Ambassadors.”

Terry Tempest Williams seems to be the only legitimate choice.

It is hard to imagine Newsom or Napolitano appreciating nature!

Newsom restricted access to nature by putting through entrance charges to the San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum during his tenure as mayor.

Similarly, entrance charges to Yosemite have been hiked, despite the fact that the US squanders countless billions on weapons and the military. There is plenty of money to keep these free!

It comes as no surprise that Gavin Newsom comes in on the plutocrats side of the wealth divide!

This brings to mind the time when Obama visited San Francisco and avoided being photographed with Newsom because of the latter’s stand on gay marriage.
